Stickman Warriors Heroes 2 lets you battle it out in a predictable physics environment.

Stickman Warriors Heroes 2 is the sequel to one of the most popular stickman games of all time. For those who aren’t familiar, stickman is a genre that brings stick figures to life inside combat arenas that use a predictable physics model. Like the first, Stickman Warriors Heroes 2 does this exceptionally well. You can see your skill improving as you are able to predict reactions and account for them.

Stickman Warriors Heroes 2 includes almost all of the content from the original game with some notable exceptions, such as the furious spin move for whatever reason. The graphics and physics are improved quite a bit. There are new maps as well as more weapons and moves. There are also new boosters that you can earn and purchase and which can provide you various advantages during combat.

The campaign aspect of the game has been enhanced as well. There are now 13 campaigns in all. Every level that you reach can be played directly via a level select option. This is a great way to practice. There is also an endless mode, which is a nice option after you have beat all 13 campaigns.

Levels can have modifiers on them. Examples include boosters not allowed or starting with 30 percent less health. Modifiers depend on the mode. In the campaigns, the modifiers are predetermined. In endless mode, they are randomized, and you can dictate them in level select. This is great for practicing a particular modifier but also for beating your high score on a particular level.

Stickman Warriors Heroes 2 can be played as a single-player game. The game does have some light RPG elements as you progress through the game while earning coins, boosters, weapons and more. That aspect is very engaging. The game can also be played in versus mode with another player on their own device locally or via the Internet. This is reasonably fun, but we would like to see it expanded. A co-op mode where two people could progress through the campaigns together would be great.

Like many mobile games these days, Stickman Warriors Heroes 2 uses a coin-based economy. You gain coins everyday for logging in. You gain coins by playing. You also, of course, have the option to buy coins with real money. The game does feel at times as if it is artificially gated in order to motivate you to buy coins. If you’re not so inclined, it can put a damper on the game and even ruin the experience.
